Birthday Party

While we celebrated Troy's, Keetha's and Grumpy's birthday here this last weekend, the kids decided they needed to go exploring. They found the Great Horned Owl nest and really wanted to see if the eggs had hatched. But they couldn't make it to the rafters where the smart owls built their nest and settled for getting a glimpse.................

Grammy, Parker and these 2 Hooligans stayed home and fixed lunch for the wandering crew. And later MeMaw & Johnny & Nanny came out for chocolate cake and homemade peach ice cream.

Troy was pretty put out with me when Bear greeted him at the door with loud, growly barks......that wouldn't stop for the longest time. Troy's eyes were big as saucers and he stood stark still protecting his jewels with Parker's car seat. Bear finally calmed down after about an hour...........
