Great Weekend

We had a great weekend with all the kids here, except our baby girl who is residing in Austin and couldn't make it for our get together this time. I'm quite sure that she probably wishes she had come on home instead of staying with friends to watch the Aggies get whooped.

We picked a few watermelons for the boys to sell at the Farmer's Market.........

And got to visit with KT & the Studder-ud. Yep they came in for a visit before he flies over the ocean again and will be gone until Christmas. We'll miss them at Thanksgiving this year, but at least we'll get to see them for Christmas.

They got to see and visit with lots of folks they haven't seen for awhile and we cooked and ate the wonderful bounty from our garden.

Their main reason for coming all this way was to see and to hold and to love on our newest addition to the family. I think they like him.
And I think that he was the hit of our party. We even had a fireworks show, courtesy of the Studder-ud and the boys. On a side note, after everyone had gone home and I was trying to clear out and clean up a little, imagine me literally jumping clear out of my skin as I burned the trash............... Someone didn't tell me they put the leftover firecrackers in the incinerator.
